We will be running a special duplicate at 7.45pm on Thursday 7th September to honour the memory of Richard Bowdery, who died earlier this year. 

There will be cash prizes for the top three pairs, courtesy of a generous donor.

Richard was a great supporter of the Acol and helped us rebuild the club when we reopened after COVID. He was exceptionally generous with his time and always available to give advice to aspiring players. His legacy will live on in the many newer members he took under his wing, who now play duplicate regularly and of whom he would be very proud.
